I like the genre that you are going to use but I think you should mainly focus on classic rock. The layout will work well depending on what image you use and I also like the idea of using a midhot or longshot. The target audience is accurate but maybe focus more on men then women. It will be successful because it will be unique and will contrast from other magazines.
I like how you have chosen a different genre for your magazine and how you have thought about the type of genre the magazine is and have matched it to the age of your target audience as i agree that a younger audience probably wouldnt be interested in Classic rock.
I think the genre you have chosen is a good idea because it is unique and probably not something that a lot of people will choose therefore it will stand out. I also think that the target audience is well suited to the theme and genre of the magazine although you could perhaps just choose to aim it at either men or women. Overall I think this is a really good idea and the final magazine will be very successful.
i like the professional look idea and the fact you are following the consistant colour palette convention. i think your target market audience will be unisex and 16-30 and i think the ideas are well thought and could well be successful
I like the idea of you focusing on previous artists but adding a modern merge to it. I think that it will suit your target audience as being young adults and will therefore be very successful because you are not targeting one gender.
I like the genre of Classic Rock music as there aren't many magazines that have this genre. This challenges modern conventions which focus on modern rock which is why I think your magazine will be successful. I think that your target audience is realistic but I think as your genre is based about music from the past 30-40 years, you could probably target an older audience as well:)
